Training

We host several visiting trainers and clinicians on a regular basis.  By providing a high level of available training, you and your horse have the best opportunity to reach your goals no matter what your discipline.  We do not provide school horses, although at times there are privately owned horses available for lease if you do not own your own.   Boarders are not pressured or required to train and compete.  Bay Hill is a relaxed barn where training and trainers are welcome depending on the needs of our residents.  Feel free to just use the facilities and trails at your leisure.  Also feel free to continue working with your own trainer.  Here are some of the trainers currently working with students at Bay Hill and all are willing to take on new clients.

Rosie Mally just visited Bay Hill for the first time and great training sessions were had by all.  Rosie has trained with the classical dressage master, Karl Mikolka of the Austrian National Spanish Riding School, American Olympian, Lendon, Gray, Hugarian O judge; Charles DKunfy and American Ellen Miller, long listed Olympic team member and good friend.  She offered us great insight to our training problems and solutions that worked .

Eva Emery - Natural Horsemanship

We have now joined up with a natural horsemanship trainer who has studied extensively with Bob Jeffreys.  Eva Emery will be happy to come to our farm and work with your horse and yourself to form a better and safer relationship.

Services such as longing, hand walking, and hacking are also available if you are short of time or just want your horse tuned up.  Most of the trainers listed are happy to provide training rides as well.

"The horse you get off is not the same as the horse you got on; it is your job as a rider to ensure that as often as possible the change is for the better."
